Crispy Fish Fry

fish masala 


Ingredients:

Fish - 1 Kg
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1 no
Rice flour - 3/4 cup
Salt as required
Oil for frying

Ingredients for masala:

Shallots/Onion - 1 cup
Garlic - 10 cloves
Ginger - 1 inch
Pepper - 1 tsp
Fennel Seed - 1 tsp
Clove - 5 nos
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick

Method:


1 - Grind all the ingredients for masala

2 - To this masala, add chilli powder, Coriander powder, turmeric, salt, egg and rice flour. Mix everything together.


3 - Coat this masala on every fish piece.



4 - Marinate it for 1 hr. Preferably marinate it in refregirator.



5 - Shallow fry / deep fry the marinated fish.
